I have tried a few of the ideas already mentioned in other posts. Usually pretty good about fixing my own issues but this one has me.I'm sure there is info I've missed providing for you. Just let me know what you need. Love Ubuntu been a hobbyist since 12 :-)uname -aenter image description herepart of lshwpart of lshw

I have no access to an hdd that I previously did. I'd have to mount the drive manually after boot and it would show up in /media. and I'd have access to it.

I tried to automate this by adding the drive to fstab. That mounted the drive in media, but I had no access to it and no root command would give me access to it.image of fstab as it currently is

I removed it from fstab and thought I'd be fine just mounting it manually. I reformatted the drive to clean it up using the disk utility in Gnome and set it to user defaults. Upon reboot i have no access to the drive at all. I cannot even open it in nautilus. It tells me the drive is busy the error i get trying to access driveuuid of the drive that wont mount, along with disks showing that it says not mountederror i get when trying to access thru nautilusfdisk -l
